The appellant has requested for personal hearing. Accordingly he was heard over his given mobile number on 21.03.2018. During the hearing, the appellant has stated that he sought video/audio recordings of five case files mentioned in the RTI application. But CPIO has intimated that no video/audio recordings are maintained. The appellant further stated that during the hearing proceedings on 21.02.2018 through video conferencing, the Hon’ble CIC ordered to the CPIO, Nalanda University to furnish a copy of the office order and report of the enquiry committee conducted against the appellant and the same was agreed to by the CPIO but it was not recorded in the decision for the reasons best known to Commission, which is a serious breach of trust and confidence. That’s why asking for video recording.
The appellant has been explained during hearing that FAA cannot give his opinion or comment on the decision of the Commission. As far as information given by the CPIO in response to the RTI application is concerned, it is found appropriate and factual as no video/audio recordings are done in the Commission. |

In response to RTI application, Shri K.L. Das, CPIO cum DO to IC(BJ) has provided an interim reply dated 28.02.2018 to the appellant that file No.CIC/DS/A/2012/000131 is not readily available in the registry and the same has been called for from the Record Room. Information will be supplied on receipt of the relevant file. In the appeal, appellant has stated that information may be provided free of cost as it was not provided within time limit. It has been informed by CPIO that pdf file is received from Record Room and original file has been weeded out as intimated by I/c Record Room. Direction is accordingly given to Shri K.L. Das, CPIO cum DO to IC(BJ) to provide suitable information to the appellant within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the order. |
