2 In this regard, it is stated that CIC is not the public authority in this case. Central Information Commission is the Second appellate authority under the RTI Act, 2005 in respect of RTI matters involving public authorities under the Central Government or UTs.
3 This is a State matter and the jurisdiction of State Information Commission and Central Information Commission are distinct & separate. State matters cant be heard in Central Information Commission. You can forward your application to the concerned State Information Commission.
