2 In this regard, it is stated that jurisdiction of State Information Commission and Central Information Commission are distinct & separate. State matters cant be heard in Central Information Commission. Therefore, the State matters can only be heard in State Information Commission. You are also informed that Central Information Commission is the Second appellate authority under the RTI Act, 2005 in respect of RTI matters involving public authorities under the Central Government or UTs.
