2 In this regard, it is stated that no other information is available with the CPIO, CIC other than that is available in RTI Act, 2005 & RTI Rules 2012 which are already available in public domain. You are once again informed that the jurisdiction of State Information Commission and Central Information Commission are distinct & separate. State matters cant be heard in Central Information Commission.
3 Central Information Commission is the Second appellate authority under the RTI Act, 2005 in respect of RTI matters involving public authorities under the Central Government or UTs. In case you are not getting reply from PIO you may file first appeal in the same department and second appeal in such cases is lies with concerned State information Commission.
4 The First Appeal, if any, against the reply of the CPIO may be made to the First Appellate Authority, CIC within 30 days of receipt of reply to
