In this regard it is to mention that the information sought for is not available in CIC. On perusal of your application, it is observed that you have already filed RTI application in concerned department. In this regard it is mentioned that If no reply is received within the given time limit under RTI Act, 2005 against your RTI application from the concerned Department or you are not satisfied with the reply, you may file first appeal in the same Public Authority wherein you have filed your RTI application. In case no reply is received against your First Appeal also, then within 90 days of filing of First Appeal you may file the second appeal in Central Information Commission. the following point-wise reply/information is provided:
1) In this Point, you have sought to know the time limit for hearing and appropriately disposing a second appeal in CIC. In this regard, you are requested to go through the RTI Act and find out the answer. This cannot be said to be the ,information, available in the custody of the CPIO but a legal provision of the Act.
In this point, you have sought to know the tentative time limit in which above mentioned 2nd appeal will be taken up and heard. In this regard, it is informed that in this Registry the 2nd Appeals & Complaints are taken up and heard in their chronological seniority. As and when the turn of your case comes, a notice of hearing will be issued to you and the other parties, informing date, time and venue of hearing. At present, the cases registered in January 2022 are taken up for hearing in this Registry. |
