1024 CICOM/A/2018/60144 AJITKUMAR VASANTRAO SONTAKKE 13-09-2018 On perusal of the RTI application, CPIO’s reply and submissions made in the appeal, it seems that the appellant is aggrieved with the decisions/non-receipt of decisions on his 03 RTI applications and first appeal filed in the public authorities DoPT and NCFBC and intend to file 2nd appeal/Complaint in the Commission. It is further to clarify that FAA of the Commission has no authority over the CPIOs/PIOs of the other public authorities such as DoPT and NCFBC. Hence, appellant is advised to file 2nd Appeal/Complaint in the Commission as advised by CPIO (RTI Cell) vide his reply dated 28.08.2018. 1025 CICOM/A/2018/60143 AJITKUMAR VASANTRAO SONTAKKE 12-09-2018 As per appeal, appellant has objection on the reply given by CPIO on Points 2 to 4 and stated that information actually exists but CPIO is knowingly not giving it. As regards Point 2 & 4 are concerned, it is informed that no such exercise has been carried out. The expenditure statements are not being maintained in that order. The expenditure and allocation of funds to CIC are included in the Annual Report, which is available on CIC’s website under link https://cic.gov.in/reports/37. As regard to Point 3, CIC does not conduct training of the CPIOs of the public authorities. Points 5 & 6 of the RTI application were transferred u/s 6(3) to Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) by CPIO, RTI Cell, therefore, appellant is advised to approach FAA, DoPT, in this regard. NA

1030 CICOM/A/2018/60142 AJITKUMAR VASANTRAO SONTAKKE 11-09-2018 In the RTI application, appellant has sought certified copy of reply of his RTI application filed in CIC and order of first appeal. CPIO, RTI Cell has stated in his reply that “You have not mentioned the specific period and details of RTIs/First appeals, it is not possible to provide the desired information…….” In the appeal, appellant has provided a list of RTI application and first appeals filed by him in the Commission. A copy of the first appeal is forwarded to CPIO, RTI Cell with the direction to provide certified copy of CPIO’s reply on the RTI applications and order of the FAA to the appellant within 2 weeks from the date of receipt of the order.
