Kindly provide the information and imposed penalty against PIO for deliberately not providing information. Compensate the applicant for repeatedly harassment by PIO.” On perusal of the RTI application and CPIO’s reply, it is observed that RTI application was received by CPIO, CIC on 10.07.2018 and he supplied information on 07.08.2018 and uploaded the same in RTI-MIS on 09.08.2018, therefore, CPIO has supplied information within the prescribed period of 30 days. Moreover, FAA of the Commission has no authority to impose penalty u/s 20 of the RTI Act. Appellant further stated to provide information. On perusal of reply of the CPIO, it is observed that point-wise information has been provided, which seems to be appropriate and factual, therefore, no intervention is required on the part of the FAA, in the matter.
