2934 CICOM/A/2019/60094 AJITKUMAR VASANTRAO SONTAKKE 22-06-2019 In the appeal, appellant has alleged that no information is provided. On perusal of the case file of RTI Cell, it is found that on Point-1, Shri Rajesh Mongia, CPIO, CR-II has already furnished information vide his online reply dated 14.06.2019 intimating therein that “The information in the form as sought by you is not maintained by this section please.” On Points 2-4 of the RTI application, Shri Jeewan Chandra, CPIO(MR) has also furnished information vide his reply dated 17.06.2019 (Point numbers inadvertently mentioned as 1,2 & 3 instead of 2,3 &4) that desired information on these points are available in the year-wise Annual Reports in the CICs’ website under link https://cic.gov.in/reports/37. The Annual Report for the year 2018-19 will be uploaded after compilation and laying on the table of both the houses (Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha) of Parliament. Hence, the allegation made by the appellant that no information is provided is incorrect. Further, information furnished by both CPIOs appears to be appropriate and factual, therefore, no further intervention is required on the part of the FAA, in the matter. NA

2938 CICOM/A/2019/60089 AJITKUMAR VASANTRAO SONTAKKE 17-06-2019 On perusal of the RTI application, it is observed that the appellant has addressed his online RTI application to the PIO, State Information Commission, Lucknow (UP) and filed it in the RTI online portal meant for the public authorities, which are under the jurisdiction of Central Government or UTs. Since CPIO, CIC in his online reply has clarified that jurisdiction of State Information Commissions and Central Information Commission are distinct & separate, appellant is advised to file RTI application or appeal in the concerned public authority or State Information Commission.
