In the RTI application, appellant has sought certified copy of reply of the CPIO in case No.CIC/MOEAF/A/2016/298594. Shri S.C. Sharma, CPIO & DO to Chief IC vide letter dated provided certified copy of reply of the CPIO, as available in the above case file. In the appeal, appellant has stated that documents provided by the CPIO are not properly certified, hence the information provided is incomplete. The appellant attached copy of DoPT OM No.10/1/2013-IR dated 06.10.2015 and requested to direct CPIO to provide the desired document w.r.t. above said DoPT OM. Para-2 of said DoPT OM states that:-
“…….. wherever the applicant has requested for ‘certified copies’ of the documents or records, the CPIO should endorse on the document “True copy of the document/record supplied under RTI Actâ€, sign the document with date, above a seal containing name of the officer, CPIO and name of public authority………â€
In view of the above, direction is given to Shri S.C. Sharma, CPIO cum DO to Chief IC to provide desired copy of documents, as per specimen given in the above mentioned DoPT OM (copy enclosed) to the appellant within 2 weeks from the date of receipt of the order. |

Appellant has filed online RTI application on 14.05.2018 and Shri R.L. Gupta, CPIO, CR-II has replied online on 22.05.2018 that “Your letter dated 11.04.2018 (Diary no.616440) and letter dated 3.4.2018 (Dy.No.125472) have been linked with the e book of file no.CIC/DSSSB/A/2017/604935 electronically to take necessary action by the concerned registry i.e. IC(YA). Your RTI is being sent to the registry of IC(YA) for providing you the information.†CPIO also endorsed a copy to the DR to IC(YA) separately. It is further observed that appellant filed this first appeal prematurely as 30 days from the date of filing the online RTI application is not completed at yet. The appellant should have wait the reply of DR to IC(YA) till the completion of 30 days of filing RTI application. The appellant is advised to note it. However, direction is given to Shri R.P. Grover, CPIO & DR to IC(YA) to provide information as sought in the RTI application to the appellant within 2 weeks from the date of receipt of the order. |
